My name is Lauren Lomax. I am 26 years old and have had animals my entire life. I currently have two Australian Shepherds (Prim and Fischer) and 3 cats (Sweet Pea, Moe, and Mittens). I understand that they are truly part of the family (sometimes the best part of the family)! A little background history on me, I grew up playing tennis. I competed at the national level starting at 8 years old. After junior tennis I went to school at Ferris State University where I played college tennis up until a recurrent foot injury ended my career early. While there I studied criminal justice and psychology. I graduated in 2019 fully planning on getting my PhD in psychology. Well, life has a funny way of steering you in a different direction. Throughout my last year of college I had been coming home on weekends to watch a few dogs and cats. This ultimately snowballed into a full-time job and I opened my LLC in January of 2022. I have been providing pet care full-time since 2019 and have never been happier. I love being able to build and maintain relationships with both my clients and their animals. Whether pet sitting or providing drop-ins, I enjoy providing care that is custom tailored to your pet. Pets thrive when they have a good routine and by keeping them on the same schedule it ensures they stay happy and stress free while you are away!
